About Smart Palm
Smart Palm is an intelligent web-based application designed to support early detection and monitoring of Ganoderma disease in oil palm plantations across Indonesia. Built with advanced deep learning and modern geospatial technologies, Smart Palm helps plantation managers, researchers, and policymakers make faster and more informed decisions to protect palm productivity.
Smart Palm offers two core features:
1. Intelligent Detection System Using Deep Learning
This feature analyzes UAV (drone) imagery to automatically predict which palm trees are potentially infected by Ganoderma. By leveraging state of then art deep learning models, the system identifies subtle visual anomalies in the canopy that are difficult to detect through manual inspection. The result is a rapid, scalable, and data-driven approach to disease detection, enabling proactive intervention at an early stage.
2. Monitoring Dashboard
To support strategic decision-making, Smart Palm includes a comprehensive dashboard that visualizes disease predictions across different regions in Indonesia. Users can explore summary reports, interactive maps, and trends generated from the detection system. This dashboard transforms raw prediction data into actionable insights, offering a clear overview of the spread and severity of Ganoderma over time.
